This class is suitable for all levels. This is an excellent class for beginners. Class begins with centering, followed by a breathing exercise. Each student begins with the same props. As we move through asana, you will be shown multiple options for each pose, as well as how to use the appropriate yoga props. This class is Hatha (ish) style, taught at a slow pace. Poses are held for about a minute, to allow for you to tune into your body and your breath. You are encouraged to explore what works for you, and take ownership of your practice. Jenny will be there to help you with alignment in reference to safety, and to support and guide you as you cultivate your practice. Class ends with savasana (quiet meditation, lights are dimmed), and may include a short guided relaxation.
